white ppl being able to like pin point their family origin down to like the city or town and for them to have records of their ancestry for hundreds and hundreds of years is an example of white privilege. being able to say that your great x 16 grandpa was a shoemaker in some remote village in Ireland is literally so crazy to me cuz so many Africans in the diaspora can’t even tell you their great-great grand parents names let alone where they came from. and it infuriates me to the core lmao
